Electricians!

I apologize for this belated note, it's been a week of hell juggling too many assignments. I couldn't let another day go past though, without thanking all of you for making this project a reality.  I do most of the talking (although Tom secretly posted an update this time) but Landers, Robb, Tom and I all appreciate your trust and support in New Pain.

The usual post-campaign stuff is now in swing. Waiting for funds to be collected and processed. Putting the final touches on the sketchbook section and sending that to our designer. In contact with the printer, making sure the books will be produced and fulfilled in March. The backerkit page is being built. Everything is running very smoothly but if we hit any bumps in the road, you'll be the first to know.

All that's left right now is to announce the random winner of our raffle for the Batman/Robin Omnibus. So without further ado, the winner is...

Happy Valentine's Day, Electricians!

Our hearts are full of love and gratitude today, not only because card company-induced romance is being forced down our throats, but because thanks to you, we've unlocked our Mystery Chase Card stretch goal. If you haven't seen it floating around on social media, here you go!

And here's a look at the back...

Robb and I had a fun time putting this chase card together behind Tom's back but guess what? Tom now wants a little payback so if we can get to $6500, a few hundred dollars away,  over the last couple of hours there will be a Keith Champagne trading card added to the set.  So if you guys want to give Tom a chance to make fun of me, bless all your hearts.

To drive the cart, this second sketch of Electricia that Tommy drew for the campaign is still available and he wants to reduce the price to $75 for existing backers. If anyone wants to grab it, just adjust your pledge upwards for that amount and leave a comment.

But don't, OK? Let's not help Tom get his revenge.

Electricians!

The weekend was a rollercoaster for our campaign.  At one point, our largest pledge (the first appearance of Jason Todd as Red Hood) canceled and took us deep enough underwater that the Lover Boy trading card was in serious doubt.  Luckily, enough new pledges came in over the next couple of days that we made up that ground and more, and  have officially unlocked the final two trading cards for The Truth and The Moss. Thanks for making that happen, guys! We're really excited all physical backers will be getting the complete set!

All that remains is the mysterious sixth chase card and we're only about $400 away from unlocking and revealing it to the world. Want to help?  If you'd like to add on to your pledge, there are still two copies of the Frank N. Stein: Private Eye HC ($10, 50% off cover price)looking for new homes, as well as one final "RED" variant cover of the original HC remaining ($40 as is or $60 if you'd like a head sketch remark).  There are also some great art rewards still available both front and back covers and several pieces of pin up art that would look great on your wall at home.

Electricians!

Happy Friday, everybody! I'm heading to the airport shortly for my signing at Most Wanted Comics tomorrow in Bloomington, Minnesota with everybody's favorite pal, Tom Nguyen. Hope to see some of you there; I know several Switch backers live in the area. Tom and I will be hosting a UFC watch party at Dave And Busters tomorrow night so stop by the signing and get the details from us!

Before I jet off into the wild blue yonder, I wanted to thank all of you for helping us unlock our first wave of trading cards! All physical backers will now be receiving Electricia, Doctor Hate and Lover Boy cards with their packages and, even better, we're only a few hundred dollars away from being able to include the Truth and Moss trading cards!
